The Sales Manager- Southwest will market value through technical project selling of specialty chemical additives in CASE industries and provide guidance to customers by providing product/services information to fulfill the needs of our customers and ensure customer satisfaction. Other duties include:

- Prospecting - New Markets and Customers

- Ability to Close Deals

- Follow-up with Urgency and Responsiveness

- Excellence in Negotiating

- Selling Value

- Working with and Motivating Distribution

- Cover Current Territory Size: $2 M

- Short to Mid-Term Business Potential: $2-5 M (within 1-3 years)

**Knowledge & Skills**

Requires a BS Degree in Chemistry or similar technical field and 3+ years of sales experience. Other desired skills, experiences and attributes include:

- Team Based Selling Experience Sales/Technical/Product Management

- Chemical Industry experience required; Performance Chemical experience is a Bonus

- Experience in the following product lines are preferred:

- CASE products, Building and Construction

- Defoamers, Thickeners, Waxes, Dispersants, Wetting & Levelling Agents, Powder Products

- Water and Solvent Based

- Coatings, Inks, Arch Paint, Adhesives, Can Coating,

- Must live in the Southwest region, preferably Texas

- Ability to Travel 60%
