Job Title: Sales Manager Location: Astoria, Queens, NY Salary: up to $90k base + performance based bonus Position Overview: A growing company in the fire alarm, construction, real estate, security, and cleaning industries is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team based in Astoria, Queens, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a team of over five sales professionals, using Salesforce CRM, and driving sales processes to achieve quotas. The Sales Manager will be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships with large accounts, including companies such as JLL and Cushman, while optimizing the sales cycle and tracking performance metrics. Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of five or more sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to increase market share in the fire alarm, construction, real estate, security, and cleaning sectors.
- CRM Management: Oversee Salesforce CRM to manage sales pipelines, monitor client interactions, and track team performance.
- Performance Monitoring: Set sales quotas, monitor team performance, and conduct regular performance reviews, ensuring that team members are aligned with company goals.
- Sales Process Optimization: Continuously analyze and optimize the sales process to improve efficiency and effectiveness, adapting to market changes as needed.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with key clients, including JLL, Cushman & Wakefield, and other target accounts in real estate and related industries.
- Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, including insights on revenue growth, quota achievement, and individual team member performance, and present these to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Proven track record of managing and motivating successful sales teams.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Salesforce CRM; ability to leverage it for sales tracking, reporting, and client management.
- Industry knowledge in fire alarm, construction, real estate, security, or cleaning services is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel locally for client meetings as needed.
