Synerfac is seeking a Sales / Marketing Specialist for our client in Alexandria, VA. Our client is an established planning and design firm focused on providing high quality planning, programming, architecture, and design related services to public, institutional, corporate, and Federal clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing within the planning, architecture, and design fields, with specific experience in engaging with Federal government clients and agencies. This role will be pivotal in promoting our client's services, enhancing brand visibility, and driving business development initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the firm's competencies, past experiences, and business edge by talking to the leaders. - Understand current methods of business development and pursuing opportunities. - Explore other markets and portals for new opportunities. - Identify new potential clients, initiate communication, and follow up with meeting with them (along with firm subject area experts) to present the firm's credentials to solicit its services for future projects. - Prepare (with assistance from firm's leaders) a business development plan and execute the same. Job Requirements - Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, planning, architecture, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the planning, architecture, engineering, or construction sectors. - Demonstrated experience working with government clients and understanding their procurement processes. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Proficiency in marketing software and tools, including CRM systems and social media platforms. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. #ZRNV
