What you'll do:

  • Create strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels to achieve service levels and inventory level objectives.
  • Create new methods and procedures for inventory strategies based on industry best practices, trends and best in class external benchmarking
  • Provide support for the implementation of the inventory strategies and recommend and drive strategies and tactics to Supply Planning for continuous improvements on inventory management
  • Manage the Sales & Operations Execution process between Supply Chain and our cross functional partners
  • Execute the agreed sales and operations planning (S&OP) plan, securing alignment of key matrixed cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with Supply Planning, Demand Planning, and Fabrication Planning teams to review short-term supply availability and demand fluctuations impacting achievement of the plan.
  • Connect leaders from Operations, Supply, Forecasting, and Logistics, through a regular cadence of stand ups
  • Use data to provide direction to operations on any potential or current challenges where action is needed
  • Manage the connectivity cadence for the Supply Chain Operating Plan, inclusive of Demand Management, Supply, Operations, Procurement, and Logistics
  • Collect, quantify, and summarize the activities of Ops, Supply, Forecasting, Logistics, and Procurement that impact Supply Chain Execution
  • Act as a Supply Chain leader to identify opportunities that drive out cost and improve service within the network
  • Provides support and direct partnership to functional leaders within the components of Supply Chain Planning, Operations, Demand and Logistics
  • Provides and directs analysis that brings transparency and understanding to the current gaps to the Operational Plan.
  • Provides data and recommendations in executive summaries to allow for effective decision making
  • Drive results in a matrix environment.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management, engineering, or related experience equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years experience in Supply Chain
  • Excellent verbal (presentation) and written communication skills
  • Strong supply chain experience and understanding of Supply Chain operating models.
  • Process development and control experience
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data and fluent in data manipulation and other analytical techniques, including display and visualization.
  • Understanding of SAP ERP System data structures, Supply Chain data, and related transactional processes
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once; experience leading projects with cross-functional team members in a high-complexity environment.
  • Collaborative style, willing to work in cross-functional teams and experience influencing outside of reporting structures.
  • Ability to travel as needed to understand supply chain processes (including manufacturing) through first-hand observation.
