John Given Wines is a well-established New York importer and distributor of fine Italian wines since 1997. We enjoy a healthy existing wine market and are looking to expand sales by establishing new accounts as well as foster existing relationships in the Buffalo and its surrounding New York State area. This job is for an independent contractor with an appreciation of good wine and the art of selling. The position has a generous commission-based compensation, a monthly expense allowance, Disability and Paid Family Leave insurance along with a subsidy for the successful applicant's own health insurance. For the right candidate, we will consider other compensation commensurate with the applicant's experience and existing sales relationships with local on- and off-premise accounts. This position is responsible for driving revenue through new and repeat business. The Territory can grow in size based on the candidate's experience and time available.Our current portfolio is available for review at jgwines.com.The position allows for flexibility in scheduling while taking into account the timing needs of customers. A part-time commitment would be considered.
