This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent.The Sales Rep Trainee will learn the essential skills to become a Sales Representative and provide coverage of routes when necessary. Our Sales Reps ensure the successful sale, distribution and retail execution of our products and related programs resulting in the overall volume growth of the accounts within the assigned territory.*This position will cover the Buffalo territory.What you'll be doing:Covering sales routes, strengthening your relationships with account ownersEnsure that all product is rotated and code policy is followedSuccessful sale, distribution and placement of productsProper merchandising of accounts with permanent and paper POSEffective accounts receivable collections within corporate credit policyConduct promotions in accounts on a regular basis or when requiredDevelop new accounts and new placementsOrganize and execute placement of window neons and banners at all accountsHandle customer inquiries regarding credit, delivery, product information and other inquiries as they ariseExecute monthly goals as related to business activitiesMaintain a regular schedule of weekly appointments with accounts in assigned areaDevelop and maintain effective customer relationsOther duties as assignedWhat you'll need to succeed:Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in marketing, sales and management or equivalent experienceExcellent oral and written communications skillsEnthusiastic, high energy, and self-motivated individual with a desire to succeedAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to work in all environments (including physical labor such as lifting, standing, sitting, kneeling, etc.)Must have strong attention to detail, communicate effectively, and strong organizational skills with the ability to multitaskValid driver's license and reliable transportationWhy join us?Competitive pay: $26.50 an hour*The schedule is Monday-Friday 45-47 hours with a start time 6:00 AM until work is completed (typical end time could range from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM).Comprehensive Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance - $0 in-network deductible, better-than-average premium contributionPaid time off & holidays401k Savings Plan with company matchGrowth & development opportunitiesEmployee Assistance Program with Work-Life ServicesEmployee Wellbeing ProgramTuition Assistance ProgramDiscounted Pet InsurancePersonal technology and cell phone plan discountsSupplemental Plans available: Disability, Life Insurance, Legal & Identity ProtectionThe Sheehan Family Companies are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
