Since 1975, we've been designing and manufacturing helicopter mission equipment at our location in Vancouver, WA to support both OEMs and helicopter operators around the globe. Recognized as a world leader for helicopter cargo hooks and weighing systems, our relentless product innovation and responsive customer support has resulted in a growing number of operators and aircraft that utilize Onboard Systems equipment to carry out a variety of mission types every day.

We are hiring for a sales representative to join our team in Vancouver, WA. Our sales representatives are tasked with supporting and growing the globally-installed base of Onboard Systems products by supporting our existing customers with real-time customer support and proactive order management, as well was finding new customers and applications for Onboard's industry-leading helicopter external load equipment.

This is an onsite role at our facility in Vancouver, WA. If you have prior experience in the helicopter industry, there is an opportunity to work remotely; you are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Developing new business through prospecting and customer relationship development

- Leading campaigns for newly-launched products or services within assigned territory

- Quoting and sales order management

- Coordinating cross-functionally to ensure that customers' needs are met

- Providing the first line of customer support for commercial and technical topics

- Educating customers on product use and applicable industry regulations

- Representing Onboard Systems at trade shows, conferences, and customer visits worldwide

Requirements

- Minimum 4 years of experience in business to business sales and associated customer support

- Helicopter, aviation, and/or aerospace experience strongly preferred

- Effective, positive communicator – both written and verbal

- Experience using CRM or ERP software to create quotes/orders and manage customer accounts

- Independent, proactive problem solver

- Dependable follow through on commitments made to customers

- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required

The compensation range for this role is $70,000-$90,000 + bonus and commission. Generous benefits package that includes medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation.
