Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to sell and promote industrial boilers and related equipment and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and providing technical presentations and proposals. This is a dynamic role for individuals who enjoy working with innovative technology and solutions in a fast-paced industry.The selected candidate will be responsible for prospecting and building relationships with potential customers in the assigned territory. This includes interacting with corporate managers, engineers, architects, and other key personnel to demonstrate the value and practicality of the company's products and services. The role requires the ability to conduct effective technical presentations and review and explain mechanical and electrical drawings. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed technical proposals and quotations, ensuring all client needs are met. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills are essential for success in this role.Qualifications and skills: The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and education. While experience in the industrial or commercial steam market is preferred, it is not mandatory. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret technical documents, and be proficient with computer software like Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and spreadsheets. A strong background in customer relationship management and a clear understanding of business and technical concepts will be key to success. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented and capable of working independently to achieve sales targets.Work environment and physical demands: This position involves regular travel, with potential overnight stays, as the candidate will be required to drive to various customer locations. Applicants must be able to drive for several hours each day and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. The role may also involve lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds and requires good vision to interpret technical diagrams. A quiet work environment is typically expected, but the role does require significant time spent in customer facilities.
