Thompson Creek is looking for confident and results-driven full time Sales Support Representatives to develop rapport and influence with potential customers leading to confirmed sales appointments. The Sales Support Representative (SSR) plays a crucial role in proactively engaging with potential customers to promote and sell the value of our services. The primary focus is on making outbound calls and effectively handling customer communication to set qualified leads, emphasizing the significance of the upcoming visit. Our highest earning Sales Support Representatives earn over $30/hour (base plus bi-weekly bonus) and our average Sales Support Representatives earn $23/hour! WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Employ established methodologies to develop rapport and skillfully influence potential customers into setting a qualified lead, ensuring a positive and impactful interaction.
  • Manage inbound inquiries from various channels, including phone calls, internet inquiries, chat communications, and text messages.
  • Initiate outbound calls to potential customers using call lists within customer relations software, with a key emphasis on promoting the value of our services.
  • Document information gathered from customer interactions into the customer relations software to facilitate seamless communication and optimize our marketing strategy.
  • Input all notes from every customer interaction within our CRM.
  • Set appointments based on company guidelines for Factory Representatives, ensuring that leads are thoroughly qualified to result in successful product demonstrations.
  • Effectively communicate necessary information between customers and factory representatives leading up to scheduled appointments, such as any delays or cancellations.
  • Attend meetings and actively participate in all training sessions as required to enhance performance and stay updated on company practices.
  • Actively promote and sell the value of our services during customer interactions, ensuring that each encounter instills confidence in Thompson Creek.
  • Provide a seamless and positive relationship with the customer, extending from installation to ongoing service.
  • Complete all empty user fields and input all notes during every contact.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the sales support team.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or BA/BS preferred and previous experience in sales or service; any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer Skills: Basic skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) preferred; ability to develop skills with SAP CRM.
