Job SummaryReporting to Sales Support Manager, the Sales Support Representative (SSR) will be responsible for growing the Sales Team's revenue and gross profit. Key areas include program/project management, proposal coordination and support, as well as adapting to dynamic process improvement efforts around major solution providers.Education and/or ExperienceBA/BS or equivalent experience preferred. A high school diploma is required with a minimum of three to five years of related experience.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesConfirmed ability to establish, maintain and retain loyal relationshipsAbility to prioritize and organize workload.Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Organization skills, and detail orientation are keys to success.Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated analytical, quantitative, problem-solving skills.Must be able to adapt quickly to dynamic changes with various partner processes.Must work well in a team environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide program or project management related to various solution partners and customer projects.Assist Account Executives in presales activities which include all aspects of pricing for Hardware, Software, Services and Maintenance.Expert in Proposal generation.Able to adapt to changing contract requirements.Ensure Salesforce records are up to date and complete.Partner records are up to date with current relevant information.Work close with Deal Desk specialists to ensure best discounts are factored into deals to ensure highest GP.Assist with forecasting and accurate reporting and account maintenance.Partner with engineers, diverse teams, distributors, and stakeholders in all aspects of sales projects from assessment and scope to roll-out; consistently improve supplier/partner relationships.Foster, promote, and contribute to a positive team environment throughout the company.Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability when assigned additional responsibilities or projects.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, SharePoint and Salesforce.Environmental Factors and Physical RequirementsPhysical environmental factors of this position include those found in typical business office environment or home office environment.Requires use of general office equipment and personal computer equipment.Ability to travel. Various means of travel may be required, including auto and air travel.
