Job Description:
Sales Support Specialist - based out of Bloomington, MN Johnstone Supply - The Heartland Group is currently hiring a Sales Support Specialist for our Bloomington branch. This individual will provide inside sales support in conjunction with our Territory Managers to support overall sales growth and profitability of the entire company.   • College degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of five years complex selling experience, with strong emphasis on business-to-business product sales and documented success.
Preferred:
  • Direct Sales experience in the business-to-business HVAC/R industry.
  • Strong focus on sales process planning and implementation.
Job-Specific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of effective sales strategies and techniques.
  • Skill in building long term customer relationships.
  • Demonstrated competency in budgeting, forecasting, and planning.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and friendly demeanor.
  • General knowledge of HVAC/R products, concepts, and the industry as a whole.
  • Skill in proactively communicating (both verbal and written) to establish relationships and influence decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation and objection countering skills
  • Skill in using critical thought to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
  • Strong project management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Demonstrated skill in developing and implementing business plans and goals.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods of selling products and services.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, ShowPad, and Eclipse.
  • Ability to manage coworker interactions with tact and diplomacy.
  • Self-motivated
  • Displays persistence, with strong drive to succeed.
