Sales Support Specialist Mounds View, MN Currently looking for a skilled individual for a temp-to-hire hire Sales Support Specialist opening with a company located in Mounds View, MN. Interested candidates should have 5+ years of customer service/sales support and administration experience within an office environment. Sales Support Specialist Job Description:
- Serve as the main point of contact for Global Sales personnel, customers, and Channel Partners associated with an assigned territory to include order management, sample requests and follow-up, pricing inquiries and maintenance, lead time inquiries, scheduling and other miscellaneous requests
- Manage scheduling and shipping requirements of customers
- Communicate logistical needs of customers
- Identify and communicate concerns that may prevent on-time shipping
- Assist customers with special requests they may have related to their shipment
- Aid, research, and gather information requested by other departments
- Partner with Finance to manage Proforma invoices required by customers, new customer onboarding and review registration claims and special pricing associated with assigned territory
- Assist with monthly gathering, scrubbing, and uploading of distribution Point of Sale reports as needed
- Manage the logistics of repair and return requests as the policy dictates
- Manage all records and documents related to primary customers
- Review and update customer contact information annually
- Assist other Sales Support Specialist as requested
- File electronic purchase orders and other department-related documents
- Adhere to quality system standards pertaining to job
Sales Support Specialist Job Requirement:
- High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's degree or post-secondary certificate program desired.
- 5+ years customer service/sales support and administration experience within an office environment.
- Experience working in sales support/customer service for a manufacturing company a big plus.
- Experience working with an ERP required; specific experience with Power Shift and/or Epicor a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel skills required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent multi-tasking and prioritizing ability
- Comfortable utilizing multiple different systems to accomplish job tasks
- High level of customer focus
Compensation for Sales Support Specialist: The starting salary for the Sales Support Specialist position is $22.00-$23.00 per hour.
