Location: Mlford, OH (Hybrid) Salary: $45,000-$55,000 Sales Support Specialist Job Description: We are seeking a Full-Time Sales Support Specialist to support the sales growth of our Intelli-Hood Business Unit. As a small-medium sized business in the emerging energy efficiency and renewable energy space, our goal is to grow sales to help change the world one building at a time. The ideal candidate will be able to provide the foundation necessary to support such growth. This position will report directly to the Associate Director of Sales with an indirect reporting relationship to the Business Development Managers. Sales Support Specialist Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service both internally and externally, anticipating needs, and maintaining professional communication.
  • Assist Business Development Manager with identifying prospects and qualifying leads for Melink's service offerings.
  • Manage and coordinate the full RFP process, collaborating with internal teams to develop and submit high-quality responses on time.
  • Input, update, and manage customer data in HubSpot CRM, ensuring accuracy and utilizing workflows for automation and reporting.
  • Own the order management process, from turning construction schedules and requests into sales orders.
  • Extract, analyze, and generate reports from SAP data, ensuring accuracy and collaborating with IT to optimize data retrieval.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks from different new business customers and prepare written correspondence and make phone calls to internal and external customers.
  • Complete project management functions for new business opportunities including but not limited to: contract review, new vendor set up, scheduling, and project close out.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely transfer of documents between departments or external parties, addressing any discrepancies.
  • Review, process, and maintain contracts, ensuring compliance, tracking expirations, and coordinating with legal for revisions.
  • Process, file, and track rebate claims, verifying eligibility and ensuring timely submission to relevant organizations.
  • Complete additional tasks as requested by supervisor.
Sales Support Specialist Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Communications, or Engineering/Industrial technologies.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to keep multiple tasks moving.
  • Have a keen eye for detail and the ability to follow up effectively.
  • A knack for multitasking and resolving conflicts calmly.
  • A high level of integrity and a commitment to top-quality work.
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) on Windows 10.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP a plus).
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret mechanical plans and construction documentation (with training).
  • Strong sales/customer service skills (i.e. interpersonal skills, public speaking/presenting abilities, written and verbal communication skills, high emotional intelligence, positive attitude with a bent for service leadership).
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
