As Sales Support Specialist, you would play a vital role associated with the overall support and success of the organization's sales. While this is not a sales position, you would be instrumental in ensuring processes for sales such as responding to customer inquiries & issues quickly and accurately, creating invoices, receiving payments, and supporting sales with supporting documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Review and promptly respond to client queries and concerns with accounts via email & phone
- Create presentations, estimates, quotes and other supporting documentation to support sales
- Regular review of production reports to ensure sales team is providing products within promised time frames
- Answer incoming calls to assist sales team with resolving client concerns through customer communication and researching issues when needed
- Communicate with vendors including 3PL / logistics services to track client orders
- Make pre-payments to vendors where necessary
- Utilize context and client knowledge to assist in completion of documents and/or tasks on behalf of clientele
- Research and resolve issues where necessary
- Demonstrate a true desire for each client to be successful
- Effectively communicate any necessary information or issues to organization's leadership
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Sales Support position
- Experience communicating with customers and clients
- Strong attention to detail
- Hands-on experience with a CRM
- Demonstrated ability to respond to and get tasks completed quickly and accurately for customers
- Ability to work onsite in Columbia, MD - Monday through Friday
