Excellent Sales Tax Temp opportunity at a growing educational content, technology, and services company for higher education,

K-12, professional, and library markets. This role will include, but will not be limited to, executing SAP tax test scripts and SAP Test Validations for OTC and PTP scripts.

Client Details

My client is a growing e-learning provider platform based in Mason, OH. They are a growing tax team who goes into the office once per month.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute SAP tax test scripts.
• Perform SAP test validations for OTC and PTP processes.
• Validate customer data loads in SAP.
• Validate material data loads in SAP.
• Verify and map data between E1/Sovos and SAP/Sovos.
• Identify exempt customers to transition from E1 to SAP.
• Train tax analysts to validate tax fields and calculations in SAP, execute required reports, and gather data for month-end closing activities.
• Review tax returns prepared by third-party providers.
• Assist with month-end closing tasks.
• Prepare or review various compliance filings (e.g., commercial activity tax, gross receipts tax, business licenses, annual reports, etc.).

Profile

• Open on years of experience (at least 2+ years)
• Sales tax and SAP experience a must
• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting preferred
• Strong and effective communicator
