Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Billing & CPQ Consultant with 8–10 years of specialized expertise in Salesforce Billing and CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) implementation and customization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the development, enhancement, and support of our Salesforce Billing and CPQ modules, ensuring seamless integration with our business processes and providing expert insights for optimizing these platforms. This role requires a dedicated, hands-on professional who can bring value through deep technical knowledge and strategic implementation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the configuration, customization, and deployment of Salesforce CPQ and Billing solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements, translating them into efficient Salesforce CPQ and Billing solutions.
- Develop scalable solutions, manage system integrations, and troubleshoot complex billing and quoting issues.
- Design and implement Salesforce workflows, custom fields, validation rules, and complex pricing rules.
- Manage and optimize the product catalog, pricing rules, discounting structures, and approval processes within Salesforce CPQ.
- Configure billing rules, invoicing, and payment processes, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards.
- Document technical requirements, user stories, and solution designs for all Salesforce CPQ and Billing functionalities.
- Perform data migrations, integrations, and manage APIs to synchronize Salesforce with other business systems.
- Provide post-implementation support and user training, ensuring smooth adoption and ongoing system optimization.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce CPQ and Billing enhancements and suggest improvements as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8–10 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce CPQ and Billing implementations, including end-to-end configuration and integration.
- Salesforce Certifications: Advanced certifications in Salesforce CPQ Specialist, Salesforce Billing, or Platform Developer are highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Salesforce configuration, Lightning components, Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and API integration.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of the sales lifecycle, quote-to-cash process, and subscription-based billing models.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver high-quality solutions on time.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in presenting technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in managing integrations with third-party financial and ERP systems.
- Background in finance or accounting as it relates to billing processes.
