Job Summary: The Salesforce Developer & IT Support Specialist contributes to ActivateWork's mission by providing technical support for staff and learners, ensuring seamless IT operations, and developing customized Salesforce solutions. This role involves significant collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance both technical and business processes. The ideal candidate brings strong Salesforce development skills, IT support expertise, and experience with Microsoft 365, contributing to the efficient use of technology at ActivateWork. HYBRID MUST BE IN COLORADO - This role is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in our Denver office Essential FunctionsSalesforce Development:
- Custom Solutions Development: Design and implement advanced Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to meet business objectives.
- API Integration: Develop and manage API integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems, ensuring smooth data flow and system interoperability.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain documentation specific to custom Salesforce development projects for long-term scalability.
- Testing and Debugging: Conduct comprehensive testing of custom code and integrations, resolving any bugs or performance issues to maintain system stability.
Salesforce Administration:
- Configuration Management: Implement necessary configuration changes (e.g., page layouts, roles, permissions) to meet user needs.
- Process Automation: Automate routine business processes using tools like Flow and Validation Rules to enhance operational efficiency.
- User Support and Training: Provide ongoing training and support to staff, ensuring user adoption and system proficiency.
- Data Integrity: Maintain data accuracy within Salesforce, including managing data cleaning and deduplication processes.
- AppExchange Solutions: Research, install, and manage third-party applications from the AppExchange to enhance Salesforce functionality as needed.
IT Support & Microsoft 365 Administration:
- IT Support: Serve as the first point of contact for all IT issues, ensuring the prompt resolution of hardware, software, and peripheral-related problems.
- System Setup and Maintenance: Configure and maintain computers (Mac and Windows), ensuring staff have access to functioning systems and secure networks.
- Microsoft 365 Administration: Oversee the administration of Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams) to support collaboration and data sharing.
- License and Inventory Management: Manage software licenses and hardware inventory, ensuring compliance and timely updates/upgrades to systems as needed.
- Technical Support Documentation: Develop and maintain user-facing technical support documentation for troubleshooting and IT systems management.
Requirement Skills/Abilities
- Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
- Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds
- ADM201 certification is required.
- PD1 certification is required.
- ADM211 certification is preferred but not mandatory.
