Position Description: The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and implementing new Salesforce solutions and enhancements to existing systems. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet business needs. Duties will include but not limited to Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications. Customize and configure Salesforce applications to meet business needs, including creating custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules. Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs and middleware. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications, ensuring optimal performance and user experience. Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, code comments, and user guides. Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and implement improvements as necessary. Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for coding, testing, and deployment. Preferred Skills: 3 years of experience performing customizations and configurations on CRM platforms At least 5 years of experience developing web applications in C# using MVC, XML, and creating and consuming WCF/REST services/WebAPI. 3 years of experience developing .NET plugins using C# and writing JavaScript for customizations. At least 3 years of experience with .NET Framework 3.5 or higher and IIS 7.5 or higher. At least 5 years of experience writing complex queries in T-SQL. At least 3 years of experience developing reports using SSRS. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives within timeline. Experience working with City of New York agencies is a plus but not mandatory. Qualifications 1. A baccalaureate degree, from an accredited college including or supplemented by twenty-four (24) semester credits in cyber security, network security, computer science, computer programming, computer engineering, information technology, information science, information systems management, network administration, or a pertinent scientific, technical or related area; or 2. A four-year high school diploma or its equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and three years of satisfactory experience in any of the areas described in 1 above; or 3. Education and/or experience equivalent to 1 or 2 , above. College education may be substituted for up to two years of the required experience in 2 above on the basis that sixty (60) semester credits from an accredited college is equated to one year of experience. In addition, twenty-four (24) credits from an accredited college or graduate school in cyber security, network security, computer science, computer programming, computer engineering, information technology, information science, information systems management, network administration, or a pertinent scientific, technical or related area; or a certificate of at least 625 hours in computer programming from an accredited technical school (post high school), may be substituted for one year of experience.
