Salesforce Development Manager
Location: New York, NYSalary Range: $170,000 - $185,000We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Development Manager to lead our team in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge Salesforce solutions for our financial services organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce development, team management, and a deep understanding of the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to best practices
- Design and develop scalable technical solutions on the Salesforce platform that meet end-to-end integration requirements
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide solution designs, and estimate project timelines
- Manage the development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, and deployment of Salesforce applications
- Implement and support integrated Salesforce solutions aligned with business priorities and regulatory requirements
- Establish and maintain development standards, best practices, and documentation
- Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Salesforce with other systems and applications
- Stay current with Salesforce updates and new features, recommending improvements to existing systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in Salesforce development and customization
- 5+ years of experience managing software development teams
- Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs
- Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud preferred
- Proficiency in DevOps principles, agile methodologies, and SAFe practices
- Excellent understanding of data modeling, business processes, and system integration in the financial services sector
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and leadership abilities
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified Development Lifecycle and Deployment Designer) are highly desirable
