As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator in AbbVie Business Technology Solutions (BTS), you'll have opportunities to contribute to the digital transformation of a leading biopharma company, helping to create solutions that impact patients and their communities for the better.
Technical expert that will independently identify, engineer, and optimize new data, software, or technology solutions that address critical business needs. Continuously seek to improve existing methods and processes. Read and adapt literature and publicly available information to accomplish assignments. Demonstrate proficiency in a broad range of techniques and methods for information technology engineering, including software development, data warehousing, statistics, machine learning, and/or technology infrastructure (including servers, storage, network connectivity, and virtualization/cloud environments). Technology Engineers will be aligned to a specific area: Information, Software, Data, or Infrastructure.
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
+ Demonstrate high proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform administration and data operations, ensuring continuous platform and capability availability and ongoing monitoring for issues
+ Release and maintain high quality SFMC capabilities/solutions aligned to business and platform projects and priorities leveraging platform SDKs, development tools, APIs, etc., monitoring in-market capabilities and resolving issues
+ Manage and resolve platform issues, collaborating with the platform teams, platform operations partners, and Salesforce Signature Support as needed, to resolve tickets per priority and SLA
+ Ensure high quality, on-time implementation and testing of assigned platform and data enablement activities within SFMC. Adhere to software development lifecycle processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation and implementation.
+ Collaborate with various internal / external stakeholders and partners to refine requirements for platform enablement activities and resolve platform operations issues.
+ Provide rapid ad hoc campaign technical support to stakeholders building campaigns on SFMC.
+ Execute ongoing platform governance, administration, and maintenance activities on the connected marketing activation platform.
+ Proactively recommend process improvements to optimize platform administration and operations.
+ Demonstrate strong client service and task management skills; communicate with both business and technical individuals effectively.
**This role will require 3 days in the Mettawa office. Candidates who are not local or within a commutable distance would be expected to relocate.
Qualifications
What makes you a strong candidate for this role:
Required:
+ Bachelor's Degree with 5 years' experience; Master's Degree with 4 years' experience.
+ 3+ years of hands-on platform administration in SFMC with deep knowledge across multiple studios/modules, including: Email Studio, Content Builder, Mobile Studio, Journey Builder, Audience Builder, and Automation Studio.
+ Strong experience integrating SFMC with Salesforce core and other relevant marketing and data platforms, including experience with SOAP and REST based APIs
+ Strong Client Facing Experience with proven success managing platform operations deliverables and communications
+ At least one Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification required
Beneficial:
+ Work experience in the pharmaceutical industry, CPG, or other complex and/or regulated industries.
+ Experience with data profiling, data integration and data visualization processes, languages and tools i.e. SQL, SNF
+ Experience in CRM/Marketing campaign development and deployments.
+ Intermediate/Advanced understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, AMPscript, SSJS, and SQL and its utilization in SFMC.
+ Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of email development design, best practices, and delivery.
+ Experienced with ITSM, agile, DevOps, and the systems development life cycle and other related IT methodologies.
+ Understanding of interactive email development and AMP4Email.
+ Knowledge of Salesforce product suite including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Platform, and the App Exchange preferred.
+ Experience working with NodeJS, jQuery, Custom Content Block SDK, and Custom Journey Activities and Events
