Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the building materials sector. Build and maintain relationships with key clients and decision-makers.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of our product line, including specifications, applications, and benefits. Use this knowledge to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery of products. Offer support throughout the sales process to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive products. Use this information to identify opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions. Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market trends.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the internal team, including marketing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure a seamless sales process and effective problem resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably in the building materials or construction industry. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders. Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with building materials, construction practices, and industry standards. Understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
  • Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
