JLA International, Inc., a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for a Sample Prep Technician position at its facility in Edenton, NC.Ideal candidates will possess the following:A high school diploma or GED (required)Basic math skillsGood attitude and willingness to work with othersGood communication and organization skillsStrong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratoryAbility to follow written directionsAbility to regularly lift up to 50lbs above waist levelSample Prep Technician duties include:Sample preparationSample sorting and log-inPerforming specific sample testing steps (under supervision)Transcribing resultsData entryInventory controlWashing glasswareGeneral laboratory cleaningOther duties as assignedThis is a full-time position and is eligible for standard benefits after a brief waiting period.
