Ensures adherence to OFAC, BSA, and internal policies while assisting with investigations and regulatory exams. Responsibilities:
- Stay informed on updates to OFAC and BSA regulations, ensuring tasks align with regulatory requirements and advising on potential impacts to the Branch or Bank.
- Conduct sanction-related screening, including customer, trade finance, and other required reviews, while serving as a Level 1 reviewer and assisting Level 2 reviewers as needed.
- Identify and escalate potential regulatory compliance gaps within the Sanction Program and maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Draft inquiries for OFAC investigations and handle manual returns for canceled transactions in suspense accounts.
- Demonstrate risk awareness by following all policies, procedures, and internal controls, taking accountability for identifying and escalating risks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in Sanctions.
- Familiarity with US Laws and Regulations.
