Sandblaster We are currently seeking candidates with sandblasting experience for a client that provides highly engineered solutions for the power generation, transmission, and distribution sectors in Boardman, Ohio . In this position, you will sandblast and prepare power distribution parts and equipment in a 91,000 square foot extremely clean, safe, and climate-controlled production facility. - 1st Shift Monday - Friday 7:00 or 8:00am to 3:30 or 4:30pm
- Part-Time may also be possible
Pay:
Key Responsibilities:
- Remove dirt, paint, grease, and other built-up material from surfaces
- Set up and operate a blast booth or similar equipment
- Load and unload the blast cabinet
- Assist with painting or coating as needed
- Apply and remove non-skid materials as needed
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Previous sandblasting booth experience or training
- Experience working with or removing heavy metals a plus
- Familiarity with power tools
