A great job-and a great future-awaits you! #BuddigProud #BuddigCareersHours of position are 9:30p - 6am Monday through Friday and Saturdays OT when production is working.The primary role of Sanitation is cleaning of the facility to meet food safety, customer quality, and worker safety requirements.Comply with food safety and quality assurance standards (GMP, HACCP, FSI, SQF, etc.)Maintain plant cleanliness to prepare plant to pass USDA/SQF and other sanitation audits.Sanitizing all surfaces of the breakroom ready for the 1st shift teams.Interior infrastructure cleaning of non-production areas.Clean office areas, hallways, locker rooms, and break rooms which includes cleaning/taking out trash.Clean outside grounds as needed, specifically walkways into the plant.Follow all Safety Guidelines and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); assists with identification and reporting of safety issues and areas and equipment requiring non-routine attention.Safety use required chemicals as indicated in the work instructions.Clean in a timely and efficient manner.Follow the master sanitation schedule (MSS).Work to prevent product contamination and adulteration, following good manufacturing practices (GMP) and Food Safety.Following proper procedures to prevent equipment damage and to assure the equipment is cleaned properly.May operate equipment to maintain clean floors throughout the building and production areas removing dirt, and other debris.Verify effectiveness of cleaning.Attend training as required.Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the facility and common areas.Performs other duties as assigned including housekeeping and/or janitorial tasks including trash/waste removal, facility grounds keeping activities, etc.Must be able to work in temperatures of 40 degrees or less and be able to lift up to 35 pounds for 30 minutes at a time.Must be flexible and able to work as needed.Must be willing to work within the two businesses (OW and CBC).Must be able to stand for up to 8 - 10 hours per day.Must be able to bend, stoop and squat as needed for housekeeping responsibilities and other miscellaneous duties.Must be able to work 40 or more hours per week and work mandatory overtime if necessary, including weekends.Must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
