Job Type Full-time Description As a Sanitation Associate with Envision Cold, you play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse and office spaces, contributing to a productive and safe working environment. Your primary responsibility is to maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the warehouse facility. Attention to detail is essential in identifying and addressing sanitation issues promptly to uphold health and safety standards. What you'll do (including, but not limited to):
- Clean and sanitize various areas of the warehouse including storage areas, aisles, break rooms, restrooms, offices, and other common areas.
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and restroom fixtures to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.
- Remove debris and dispose of any trash and recyclable materials appropriately.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling cleaning chemicals or operating cleaning equipment.
- Adhere to sanitation regulations and guidelines set forth by regulatory agencies, such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
- Perform other duties as assigned/needed.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Have a good attendance record and work ethic.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (minimum of 40 lbs.) as required.
- Comfortable working in cold/freezing temperatures while wearing personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
- High degree of attention to prevent injury to others.
- Bilingual in both Spanish and English highly preferred.
