The purpose of this role is to maintain indoor/outdoor cleanliness of facilities (e.g., restrooms, break areas, production/laundry areas, workstations, countertops, and all common areas) per Good Manufacturing Practices, quality, and FDA standards. Essential Duties: • Clean windows, glass doors/walls, handrails, refrigerators and microwaves using the appropriate cleaning solutions • Wipe and dust furniture and fixtures in assigned areas • Ensure all soap, disinfecting, cleaning and paper products are stocked and ready for use • Sweep and vacuum floor to remove debris • Mop restroom floors, break areas, laundry areas, production areas, and offices using safe handling of cleaning solutions • Collect and remove all trash and glass from designated areas, wheel to outdoor disposal area and manually dump trash into waste containers • Place cardboard boxes onto compressor machine and roll compressed cardboard boxes onto a pallet • Clean work area as needed to maintain a safe work environment • Involves constant movement around the facilities, occasionally in a hot/wet/humid environment (80-90°F) or cold environment (30-40°F) • Frequent and repetitive reaching/pushing/pulling motions to wipe, dust, sweep, mop and clean facilities • Frequent bending/stooping/crouching to perform sanitation duties in a confined space • Frequent pushing of a 75 lb. trash/glass barrel cart throughout the facility and unloading of materials into outdoor waste containers • Frequent lifting of 25-50 lb. trash bags to unload into outdoor waste containers • Involves frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and constant exposure to electrical equipment and chemicals used for sanitization • The noise level in this work environment is occasionally above 84 dB and requires earplugs to be worn • May involve occasional operation of floor scrubber for cleaning and transporting materials (training provided) • Employees may occasionally perform work in a highly elevated position requiring balance • Employees are required to stand for the majority of their work shift Benefits: Use this link bit.ly/4cGUQSh to learn more about benefits available to Eastridge's temporary employees.From time to time Eastridge's clients may offer additional benefits to Eastridge employees while on assignment.Information about those benefits will be communicated when applicable.
