Position Summary

Responsible for assisting the Equipment Operator with bulky goods and brush collection in a safe and efficient manner. Must adhere to all collection and safety policies and procedures. Salary: depending on qualifications and experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assist with curbside collection of curbside waste.

• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all department policies and procedures.

• Perform bending and lifting activities safely for extended period of time.

• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of equipment.

• Practice workplace safety.

Minimum Qualifications

No experience required

Preferred Qualifications

Education / Experience:

• 1 year of experience in Brush and Bulky Goods collections

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of safe work practices.

• Ability to work in a team environment.

• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

• Ability to work independently of the supervisor.
