We are looking for a Sanitation Intern interested in starting a SWEET career as at our Manufacturing unit , Somerset , New Jersey.

Qualifications

Primary Job Assignments and projects

To perform time studies for all sanitation related job duties

To assist in the verification and validation of Work Instructions and SSOP's

Identify opportunities to operate more efficiently while performing sanitation job duties without jeopardizing quality of cleaning.

Give support in managing overwhelmingly sanitation supply inventory.

Partner with other departments to identify how sanitation can have improved partnerships.

Daily auditing and filing of departmental documentation for proper recordkeeping.

Primary Learning Objectives

Improved project management skills.

How to write, audit and validate Work instructions and SOP'S

How to perform time studies

How to audit documentation

How to schedule tasks to meet required frequencies and deadlines

Managing of Inventory

Developing the bandwidth to multitask successfully and confidently

Qualification

Rising junior in college/university or senior pursuing bachelor's degree

3.0 overall GPA or better.

Strong business acumen and analytical ability.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal and organization skills; and, demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.

Self-motivated and bias for action.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Demonstrated personal and professional values.

It would be sweet if you also had:

Exposure to a fast paced, dynamic manufacturing facility.

Time management and multitasking skills.

Develop and understand critical food manufacturing GMP's, Food Safety knowledge which will be applicable for any position applied for in a food manufacturing facility.
