Daily Duty's (but not limited to)

  • Dishes- wash, sanitized, put away after dry
  • Wipe down or wash carts, pallets as needed (at least once a week)
  • Wash all sinks (hand, mop, dish) once a week
  • Cleaning of machines. You will be trained on how. Machines should not be left wet – they will rust or breed bacteria.
  • Tumbler
  • Grinder
  • Risco stuffer
  • Biltong Cutter
  • Packaging machine
  • Reiser stuffer
    • All Floors
  • Production Room floor maintain throughout the day sweep/mop
  • Hanging Room area. Areas that do not have meat hanging in them.
  • Cutting room (end of the day) sweep/mop
  • Dish room (end of the day) sweep/mop
  • Loading dock sweep when needed (at least once a week.)
  • Shipping dock sweep when needed (at least once a week.)
    • Trash: all trash gathered at end of the day an put in dumpster. Any cardboard broken down and place in bin.

    • Slicing area

  • Slicers cleaned
  • Floors
  • Tables
  • Trash
    • Front area of building
  • Bathrooms wiped down and restocked at least once a week, trash as well.
  • Floor swept,( mopped at least once a week.)
  • Front door cleaned inside an out as needed.
  • White painted doors wiped, around doorknobs and doorknobs as well.
  • Break room, wiped down, trash, floors.
  • When rags and coats are dropped off folded and put away in proper places.
  • Restock gloves, hair net, beard nets when needed.
  • Once a month deep cleaning – to be announced

    Qualifications: Qualifications

    Required Education : High School Diploma or GED preferred.

    Preferred Experience : No experience required

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT :The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work environment is a plant / office setting with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels. Exposure to manufacturing equipment movement and wet / slippery floors. Travel may be required.
