We are devoted to providing an inclusive environment, free from harassment and discrimination, where all team members feel welcomed, valued, and respected.Summary:Sanitation employees are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the entire facility.Duties and Responsibilities:Sanitation is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all machines, parts, utensils, and facility.Cleaning and sanitizing assigned area.Other duties as required.Human Safety, Food Safety and Paperwork Requirements:Complete other paperwork as requested.Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Follow all plant and area safety rules and regulations.Follow all plant rules and policies.Physical Requirements:Able to stand 8-10 hours per day.Able to bend or lift 8-10 hours per day.Able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.Able to climb stairs and ladders.Able to do repetitive wrist motions/demonstrate good range of motion in wrists.Able to work overtime as required.Able to wear rubberized personal protective equipment.Compliance:Monitor compliance to the HACCP, GMP, Food Safety and Food Defense Operating Procedures, Master Sanitation, pest control, microbiological & environmental testing programs in support of Production Operations.Audit and verify measurement, inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous compliance of materials, facilities, and products (SQF, Customer, FDA, and USDA).Assist in investigation (QRI Process) and report writing (IR's) for foreign materials observed as needed.Generate hold tags and reports for products not meeting company specifications as needed.Verify allergen clean on scales and prep areas (Spice Rooms and Prep Rooms included) daily.Batch Audits/Prep Audits performed weekly.Compliance audits resulting in company noncompliance reports when a deviation is observed, may include walkthroughs with USDA inspectors during shift performed daily.Assembly start-up checks performed daily.Pack out start-up checks performed daily.Perform packaging verification checks for the following shift performed daily.Glass Audits and GMP Audits performed weekly.Handling of all Blood Borne Pathogen incidents as needed.Sauce approvals for finished batches performed by Cooks daily.Review of documentation packets for paperwork accountability and correction of gross errors observed daily.Train relevant employees (Operators, Leads, Supervisors, etc.) in all policies, procedures and documents required for job tasks as needed.Complete work requests for damages observed on the production floor affecting Food Safety or Food Quality as needed.Assist in checking in raw material deliveries and or inbound return loads as needed.Complete Early Release documents for product requested prior to documentation review as needed.Magnet tests for all Kettle and Raw Material magnets performed annually.Sensory Cuttings performed daily.Oversee removal of all metal rejects from containment bins and facilitate inspection of entrees daily.Participate in GMP and Sanitation Audits in the Jackson production facility.Bellisio Foods is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
