Kinsa is recruiting for a: Sanitation Manager / Deli Products / Off Shift Overnight Location: Owensboro, KY Mission: Our client, a producer of premium deli products, is looking for a Sanitation Manager to add to their team. In this position, you will lead the Sanitation team to achieve full plant compliance with sanitation/cleaning standards, food safety, and personnel safety while maintaining all federal, state, and customer requirements. Successful candidates MUST HAVE experience in a food processing plant environment (and/or other singular qualifier under Competencies/Culture below). Compensation/Benefits:

What you'll be responsible for:
- Develop, implement, and maintain master sanitation schedules
- Ensure all areas of the plant are properly sanitized and in good repair
- Work with Quality Assurance and Production to validate/verify allergen cleaning
- Order and maintain inventory for Sanitation department materials within budget
- Manage chemical control within the Sanitation department
- Continually train, monitor and enforce compliance to safety program including Lock Out Tag Out, chemical safety, chemical SDS, etc.
- Update and audit sanitation program and SSOPs to ensure compliance with FDA and GFSI requirements
- Assist with quality systems relating to sanitation, environmental safety, food safety, and quality controls
- Participate in food safety and plant audits, company audits, and 2nd and 3rd party audits
- Provide pest control support, working with pest control provider
Competencies/Culture:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
- GFSI, FDA, HACCP, PCQI certifications preferred 3+ years of sanitation supervisory experience in a food processing environment USDA experience (REQUIRED)
