Sanitation Safety Representative

Directs safety activities occurring during the sanitation shift in processing plant location. Supervises training staff to ensure compliance with directives and procedures. Monitors, implements, and provides oversight for the organization's safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable laws. Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities: Evaluates sanitation safety programs, policies, procedures, facilities, and equipment to identify potential risks and implement safeguards and solutions. Conducts routine internal audits to ensure all employees are knowledgeable and aware of all safety requirements and follow established policies and procedures. Communicates and collaborates regularly with all levels of employees on a preemptive time frame to help drive the importance of safety and protection of employees Conducts safety training for sanitation shift workers.
