What You'll Work On
Oversight and involvement in cleaningand sanitization processes forfood manufacturingequipment andfood manufacturingfacilities
Prevent cross contamination of product, work-in-progress, food contact surfaces and food contact packaging during sanitation procedures
Follow all company Sanitationstandard operating procedures (SOPs)for cleaning equipment and facility
Complete all required sanitation and work order documentation
Maintains stock and organization of all sanitation related equipment including but not limited tocleaning carts and tools,automatic floor scrubbers, vacuums,foamers, cleaning equipment and tools
Maintains the effectiveness of the quality systemand adheres to all company GMPs and Safety policies
Follow established programs, policies, and practices to produce safe, quality foods that meet regulatory, company, and customer requirements
Follow company safety policies and practices fostering a safe workplace and environment for ourselves and our co-workers
Work safely with the chemicals used in the cleaning process and ensure all chemicals are used at proper concentrations followingchemical handlingSOPs
Wear appropriate person protective equipment (PPE) while perform cleaning tasks
Performs other duties as assigned by the sanitation supervisor
You'll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
Pay and Shift
The hourly pay for this position is $19.00 per hour. This is a first shift , Monday through Friday position working from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm .
Required Qualifications
Requires a high school educationor equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of sanitation or housekeeping
Ability to read and comprehend written work order instructions
Experience in aGood Manufacturing Practices(GMP) environment
Ability to multitask and deliver consistent results with above average accuracy
Experience in chemical usage and safety
Preferred Qualifications
Sanitation experience in afood manufacturingenvironment
Knowledge of applicableregulatory standardsand requirements for infant formula and nutritionals
Computer skills
Forklift certification

The base pay for this position is $15.15 – $30.25 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
