Responsibilities Key Results Areas: The successful candidate, who reports to the Sanitation Supervisor, will be able to observe and learn the process quickly while being proactive and identifying areas that need improvement to insure the product meets specs as well as deadlines for production runs. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Ability to communicate effectively with other employees and supervisor Must be able to observe process and identify problems before they occur Food Safety Production Areas Notify Supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy while in the Production Perform all duties necessary to meet American Institute of Baking (AIB), Company, and or Government requirements / standards as prioritized by the Inform Management of ANY Food Safety or Quality issues or of any processes, which become noncompliant with specified Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety Identify and record any problems relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety Controls further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been Inform Management of ANY Food Safety or Quality issues or of any processes, which become noncompliant with specified Working Relationship: Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills. Ability to interact effectively with department, company, and experience in a team-oriented environment is required. Physical Demands: Periodic lifting of up to 50 lbs. Pushing, pulling, bending, & stooping on occasion Minimum Qualifications Required: Responsible and Proactive employee Responsible for meeting requirements for sanitation in assigned departments Must have the ability to correctly add, subtract, multiply, and divide Must be able to complete tasks with little direction while insuring product safety, and quality requirements are met according to government and other outside authoritative bodies. Maintain the documentation of cleaning checklists for all shifts and inventory of all sanitation supplies. Ability to train others in duties to accomplish their job requirements. Willingness to take on special tasks or assignments and complete them when assigned. Proactive in regards to finding areas that need special attention and bringing those to the attention of management. Available to work 12 hours every Monday & 8 hrs. during week with weekends scheduled off Less than 6 occurrences in previous 12 months. No more than 2 corrective actions in previous 12 months. Must be current American Blanching Employee/Golden Boy Foods employee (No Labor Finders Employees will be considered) Must have been in current position for a minimum of 6 months. Willingness to learn cleaning process for equipment throughout plant Mechanical aptitude as breaking down equipment and putting it back together will be required.
