Benefits Available!Weekly Pay! $15.00/Hour Shift Details: 3:00PM-11:30PMDESCRIPTION:Responsible for removal and transport of all recycling and waste (to include solid waste, regulated medical waste,universal waste, pharmaceutical, RCRA/hazardous waste)Also able to perform general Hospitality Associate,Environmental Services I duties when needed. Major Responsibilities:QualityAdhere to safety and sanitation policiesAdhere to policies related to storage, handling and disposale of RMW(regulated medical waste), RCRA/Hazmat,solid waste and universalMaintain and adhere to Environmental Services uniform and personal appearance standards at all times Complete Department of Transportation (DOT) and Hazardous Waste training and maintains proficiencyReport all hazards and unsafe work conditions.ServiceFocus on patient experience and follow all patient experience standardsCollaborate with leadership with recommendations for patient experience improvement.Manage service recovery as needed.Maintains cleanliness of waste holding/storage areasDelivers clean and removes solid linen as neededPeopleFoster a culture of commitment to the HCA vision, mission, and values of the organizationParticipate in team and individual employee trainingGrowthParticipate in training with senior housekeepers to further develop/advance within the industry.FinanceManage waste/recycling in order to meet/exceed facility waste and recycling cost goalsCorrectly utilize all supplies and resources at all times to minimize waste.Follow all time keeping standards: time clock procedures, meal breaks, timely clockingOtherPerforms other duties as assigned.Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” and “Mission and Value Statement.” Education & Experience: High School Graduate or EquivalentPreferred1 + years of experience in healthcare Preferred1 + years of experience in housekeeping or service related field Preferred Licensure, Certifications, Training:Credential*: Required: Preferred:Grace Period Where applicable, instructor card accepted in place of student credential.
