This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Technician I, Sanitation is responsible for all cleaning activities necessary for the cleanliness throughout\ the manufacturing facility and office areas.\ Key responsibilities include:\ The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and that additional tasks may be assigned\ to the employee from time to time; or the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands.\ Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential\ functions.Observe all safety, sanitation, GMP and HACCP requirementsResponsible for cleaning all aspects of the factory including but not limited to: interior and some exterior,\ washrooms, restrooms, common areas and office areasResponsible for structure cleaning; rotationComplete all SAP/BRC paperwork to comply with existing and new requirements.Participate in Blood borne Pathogens, chemical and glass cleanup programsParticipate in daily exercise activities at the beginning of each shiftResponsible for food and employee safety as well as meeting all regulatory requirements for bothWork with Level 2 sanitation techAbout you:Reading & Comprehension skills, requiredGood verbal, written and oral communication, requiredMinimum of one (1) year experience working in a food-manufacturing environment, a plusFlexible work schedule for audits, line downtime, cleaning high risk areas during productionAbility to work independently and self- directed, requiredMust be able to use scissor lift daily, requiredMust be able to use a variety of cleaning products, detergents, sanitizers, water & food items, requiredAbility to stand on concrete floor for long periods of timeBend, squat, stretch and reach frequentlyAbility to climb stairs, oftenMust be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs, oftenComfortable working at heightsMust be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the facilityNoise level can exceed 0.85 decibels
