Seasonal (Seasonal) JOB TITLE: Sanitation Technician DIVISION: Mountain Operations REPORTS TO: Facilities Manager and Mountain Operations Director LOCATION: Moonbeam Lodge or The Village CLASSIFICATION: Part-Time/ Full-Time/Seasonal/Hourly/ Season to Season POSITION: Maintain a safe and guest-friendly environment in base and village areas; maintain safe and efficient loading zones; remove Garbage and recycling from resort common areas; perform daily vehicle inspections and safely operate resort vehicles along with any other Guest Services duties. Must be qualified to operate company vehicles. Provide assistance and helpful guidance to guests in a courteous, professional and respectful manner. SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a valid driver's license and excellent driving record to operate any company vehicle
- Must be able to safely operate company vehicles when assigned
- Must have sufficient communication skills and knowledge of Solitude Mountain Resort to answer guest questions
- Must be available to work any schedule and shift Monday through Sunday
- Must have the desire and ability to tolerate and work in varying weather conditions for extended periods of time including cold temperatures, inclement weather and moving between indoor and outdoor environments
- Must be able to lift 80 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
- The ability to meet and/or exceed satisfactory performance levels in all duties
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Constant and continuous collection of Garbage, recycle, and debris from all designated areas
- Snow removal with snow shovels and power assisted snow removal equipment
- Be open to willingly accept other grounds maintenance duties and responsibilities for Guest Services or Mountain Operations.
- Communicate in a pleasant and respectful manner with fellow employees and guests
- Be tactful and diplomatic when interacting with guests
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
