POSITION SUMMARY: Sanitation technicians are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the production floor, following company procedures and policies. They must also be cross-trained in various areas of production.
- Learn and follow the correct cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
- Clean and reassemble parts and equipment.
- Obtain general information on every area of the production floor.
- Follow all company procedures and policies.
- Learn the CIP systems in the assigned department.
- Report any production or sanitation issues.
- Assist with production and sanitation needs.
- Adhere to safety procedures and requirements.
- Communicate with relevant departments on equipment issues and inspections.
- Ensure food safety, food quality, and product quality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Successful completion of yearly LOTO and Chemical Training.
- Ability to learn and follow the correct cleaning procedures.
- One to three months of related experience and/or training is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Basic mathematical abilities.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in various situations.
