Job Description:

North Country Growers is seeking full-time Sanitation Technicians to join our team at ourstate-of-the-art Controlled Environment Agriculture facility in Berlin, NH. As a Sanitation Technician you will be responsible for creating a clean facility during the second shift that adheres to food safety rules and regulations.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.Creating a clean and safe work environment that promotes work safety and product integrity.Must follow all safety, HACCP, and GMP requirements at all times.Adaptable to a fast-paced environment.Willing to be flexible to accommodate changing business conditions.Uses chemicals according to company guidelines and safe practices.Ensure cleanliness around production areas.Ability to follow SOPs and fill out documents.Knowledge and Skill RequirementsLift, push, pull, pick, or carry overhead a minimum of 25 pounds.Bend, stoop, twist, walk, grasp, push and pull repeatedly 90 % of the time.Familiarity with Food Safety rules and regulations.Work Environment and Physical RequirementsThe following physical requirements of the job are required to be performed with or without reasonable accommodations:Occasionally moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.Constantly moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.Constantly adjusting or moving objects up to 15 pounds in all directions.Occasionally adjust and/or move in all directions objects weighing up to 50 pounds.Ability to work in all weather and environmental conditions, including hot and cold temperatures and wet conditions.Ability to constantly perform repetitive motions that may include the arms, wrists, hands, and/or fingers.Ability to use and comfortably work with automated equipment and machinery.Ability and visual acuity to observe details at close range.Ability to adapt to changing work conditions.Ability to descend and ascend steps.Ability to work safely with concentrated cleaning chemicals.BenefitsPay range: $17 - $20/hrMedical and dental insurancePaid time off Holiday payRetirement plan when benefits become availableYear-round indoor work**To apply please send your resume and cover letter to ...@ncgrows.comDisclaimer:** This job description is not all-inclusive.
