Summary Responsible for facility and equipment cleanliness, ensuring that the plant remains in a sanitary state for the manufacturing of safe and quality food. This is a part-time, as-needed position. Essential Duties
- Cleans various areas of the plant and plant processing equipment as directed by supervisor (may change according to facility needs).
- Food safety - Understands and monitors Critical Control Points (CCP's), and understands and conforms to all food safety and HACCP guidelines within the scope of responsibilities.
- Follows SOP's as instructed for all processes and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently with little direct supervision.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- Must have the physical ability to meet strength and movement requirements.
- Willingness to work in dusty and/or wet conditions as required.
- Ability to work in an environment that may contain food allergens.
- Must be able to read at an 8th grade level and pass pre-employment reading and basic math works samples
- Demonstrates interpersonal behaviors required for effectively communicating with co-workers and working cooperatively.
- Ability to make effective decisions within established guidelines.
- Willingness to accept supervision, follow stated guidelines and requirements and is committed to safety and quality standards.
