The company's brand portfolio includes the leading brands Domino®, C&H®, Redpath®, Tate & Lyle®, Lyle's® and Sidul®.POSITION SCOPEThe Sanitor is responsible for executing tasks related to sanitation, facility upkeep, training, and operations support.DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment in areas such as offices, hallways, lobbies, rest rooms, corridors, stair ways, locker rooms, warehouses, etc.Replenishes supplies for PPE, bathrooms, hand wash stations, and office as neededOperates floor scrubber to clean plant floor, aisles, and warehouseManages disposal of facility trash and recycling programAssists Quality department with holds and product inspections, as well as clerical tasks such as reviewing training documentationMaintains facility grounds by assisting with building upkeep (indoor & outdoor), inspections, and corrective actionsAssists with sugar dust and cobweb removalWork effectively and ensure that food safety, authenticity, legality, and quality are maintained.Report any risks or any evidence of unsafe or out-of-specification product, equipment, packaging or raw materials, to a designated manager to enable the resolution of issues requiring immediate action.All other duties as assignedWORK EXPERIENCES1-3 years experience in manufacturing or similar industry preferredPrior experience working in a janitorial role preferredPrior experience operating a floor scrubber preferredEDUCATION REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience requiredESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES)Must possess great attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced industrial environmentMust be able to understand verbal and written EnglishResults focused and detailed orientedIndividual must be punctual and reliableDemonstrated ability to follow direction and execute tasks successfullyThe employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. In addition, this position occasionally requires an employee to work outside in intense weather conditions (i.e. cold temperatures, snow, hot temperatures, etc.)LOCATION OF ROLEBuffalo, NYHiring 3rd shift:The starting hourly rate is 18.00/hour.
