You autonomously manage smaller user requests from end-to-end yourself, while larger user requests are handled in close cooperation with your colleagues based in Switzerland.Your day to day will be the following:Analyze business requirements, provide solutions/designsCoordinate with business and the (onshore) development teamOrganize/execute/support testing/trainingCreate corresponding documentationEnsure maintenance stability, incl. 2nd level business supportProvide explanations and expertise regarding as-is / to-be models as part of the requirements elicitation process i.e.; process, data, work flow, application etc. to appropriate stakeholders.Plan, conduct/facilitate elicitation sessions for business requirements gathering with subject matter experts and end usersProduce requirement specifications, outlines solution design documents throughout the project life cycle and engage in solution design and brainstorming session across teamsSupport the backlog management and help to ensure the deliverables and timelines are metAdapt and apply different delivery methodologies determining the best for the specific projectIdentify and define short/mid-term requirements contributing to long term (multi-year) business visionsPerform quality review checks on project deliverablesParticipate in development of test plan, testing, implementation, and training activitiesConduct post implementation activities including problem solving and measurement of benefits achievedParticipate in production support & maintenance activities associated core Underwriting and International Programs platforms and applications.How do you know you fit in?Don't worry, we are not asking you to save the planet or meet 100% of the requirements.A bachelor's degree or comparable qualification preferably in IT, business information or equivalentProven working experience as a senior SAP FS-RI business analyst with a clear solution and delivery mindsetSound knowledge of the (re-)insurance industrySound experience in capturing complex business requirements, analyze them and translate them into easily understandable functional requirementsCompetence and experience in conceptualizing solutions and must possess in-depth, strong problem-solving analytical skillsBeing experienced working in an agile delivery environment, feeling comfortable in complex international project setups and able to work under pressure in a multi-vendor and multi-cultural setupExperience in application testing and supporting/organizing user acceptance testingBalanced mix of business acumen as well as affinity to technologies, systems as well as data and its structuresAdvanced English language skills, orally and in writingAdditional knowledge about SAP ABAP, SAP BW and/or accounting would be a plusClient-oriented team playerAt Zurich we love to live life to the fullest.
