About the Role
The SAP Coordinator collaborates with business users on SCM, QAS, Production Planning, EWM, Material Management, and FICO teams to define Information Systems needs and leverage SAP best practices to meet business requirements. This function will also coordinate and manage the implementation of SAP for the Bowling Green KY Plant. This will be a team collaboration with our external partners, and the Global COE Team to assure successful implementation.
What You Will Do
• Oversee application development, maintenance, and production support, act as a liaison between business and technical teams.
• Responsible for ensuring the integrity and efficiency of the SAP system (including EDI); supporting the business processes, understanding SAP blueprint and coordinating all SAP related changes.
• Manage the timeline, budget, execution and project communication of various Business Technology related projects with various SAP modules in: SD (including EDI), MM, WM, FICO.
• Support existing SAP processes and related user operation of system, including: categorizing user questions and creating tickets; reproducing the problem in QAS.
• Coordinate SAP fixes, new features or upgrades and ensure the proper resolution to these changes: ticket, implementation or coordination of the implementation in DEV, unit testing, integration testing in QAS including follow-up, documentation, training, roll-out or coordination of the roll-out in PRD once change is approved in QAS.
• Stay current with developments within SAP field and strive to continuously maintain expertise in use of SAP system
• Communicate technical issues effectively to management and peers.
• Define system needs with business users under general direction.
• Assist in creating business cases, estimating costs, and challenging assumptions.
• Participate in project teams, follow SDLC processes, and create application testing deliverables.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts to restore application functionality.
• Manage multiple initiatives and prioritize tasks.
• Engage professionally with executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
• Design, configure, and implement SAP EWM solutions, optimizing warehouse processes and integrating EWM with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
• Manage job scheduling processes and configure systems to support business requirements.
• Integrate SAP with external applications like MES to ensure seamless data flow and process efficiency.
What You Need
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, ERP, Technical, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years with SAP modules and a deep understanding of EWM.
• Full-cycle SAP implementation experience.
• Knowledge of materials management, production scheduling, and material requirements planning.
• SAP Configuration and query writing.
• Exposure to SAP S4 HANA.
• Experience with SAP Supply Chain modules (MM, PP, SD).
• Experience with offshore personnel and third-party vendors.
• EDI knowledge.
• Experience integrating SAP with external applications like MES.
• Certifications: SAP certification(s) desired.
• Project management and application development processes.
