**Job Summary**
The SAP Finance & Taxation Manager will ensure a relationship with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, external project consultants and COE team members to help design, develop, deploy and support solutions in SAP S/4HANA. This role will also have a key responsibility in providing the support for day-to-day SAP Finance, Tax and OneSource modules. The ideal candidate should have good listening skills, pro-active, team player and have the ability work with cross-functional teams and the business stakeholders.
**Job Details/Responsibilities**
+ Accountable for design and implementation of SAP S/4 HANA capabilities supporting Finance functions in General ledger, Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables.
+ Accountable for design and implementation OneSource Global tax solutions related to the taxes in North America, EMEA, LATAM and APAC regions. Manage functional and technical analysis of new functionalities integrated to the Tax engine.
+ Responsible for designing and deploying solutions for various VAT and Deferred Taxes.
+ Actively engage with business, SAP COE leader, cross-functional teams, external consultants to provide best fit technical solutions while aligning to global template solution.
+ Responsible for managing General Ledger support for all processes including journal entry processing, accruals, recurring entries, exchange rates and foreign currency revaluation.
+ Perform FIT/GAP analysis and write functional specifications for RICEFW.
+ Support month-end and year-end activities and resolve issues in a timely manner.
+ Support SAP COE in testing and validation efforts related to Maintenance Patches, Version Upgrades and integration on New Bolt-on Applications from time to time as required.
+ Help Perform risk assessments of enterprise apps and work closely with project teams on building/configuring applications security.
+ Develop User Documentation in collaboration with Business Team and external consultants.
+ Support SAP COE in testing and validation efforts related to Maintenance Patches, Version Upgrades and integration on New Bolt-on Applications from time to time as required.
+ Monitor and respond to help desk tickets in a timely manner, and work with business to understand the issue, and provide the solution.
+ Provide functional advisory support to ad hoc SAP/Non-SAP led initiatives in other subsidiaries to support managerial decision making.
+ Drive the Functional Integration of all E2E processes enabled by SAP S/4HANA to ensure proper design, development, testing and the cutover activities.
+ Work with other Process Team(s) in development and execution of the test scripts in the integration testing cycles and regression testing.
**Job Responsibilities (continued)**
+ Support integration of Ariba and OneSource for tax determinations, read OneSource logs to resolve tax related issues.
+ Support different tax scenarios of input tax for Europe including reverse charges, deductibility, partial deductibility, reverse charges with deductibility.
+ Understanding of the taxation of different Europe countries and reporting requirements.
+ Able to work independently to map business processes from tax purposes and collaborate with other process teams.
+ Work with other Process Team(s) on new developments and support of tax related changes in OneSource and Global Next.
+ Support business on OneSource Audit reports.
+ Support business on VAT and Intrastat reports.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)**
+ Proven experience in implementing and configuring OneSource Tax software within SAP S/4 HANA environments.
+ In-depth knowledge of tax compliance requirements and regulations, with a focus on indirect taxes (VAT/GST, sales tax and Use tax).
+ Strong understanding of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
+ Knowledge in Finance and Taxation
+ Certification in S/4 HANA
+ Experience in SAP ACR/DRC reporting and Document compliance
+ Experience in Withholding Taxes
+ Experience working with Revenue Recognition, Revenue Accounting, US GAAP, IFRS
+ Integration Experience with SD and MM
+ Applied experience with banking and Cash Management/Treasury
+ Experience in integration of Ariba and OneSource for tax determinations, understanding of the OneSource logs to resolve tax related issues.
+ Ability to understanding posting of purchasing and invoices from Ariba to SAP.
+ Knowledge of use of OneSource Audit reports.
+ Ability to work on VAT and Intrastat reports to support European business.
+ Experience in handling various input tax scenarios such as reverse charges, deductibility, partial deductibility, reverse charges with deductibility.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills
+ Ability to work on projects with cross functional teams, external resources, and PMO.
+ Manage business users independently, be self-motivated, proactive and a team member.
+ Ability to embrace new technologies and adopt to an evolving environment.
+ Ability to adopt flexible schedule to meet multiple time-zones for meetings with peers and stakeholders.
**Qualifications/ Background Experiences**
+ Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience.
+ Minimum 10 years of experience with Process Design, Deployment and/or support experience utilizing and configuring the SAP FICO module with a heavy focus in General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, and taxes.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience with implementations of OneSource software experience within SAP S/4 HANA required.
+ Experience in integration of SAP Order-to-Cash and Source to Pay with SAP FI required.
+ Experience in integration of SAP Supply Chain processes preferred.
+ Experience in Medical Device / Life Sciences Industry preferred.
