Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant with extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA brownfield migration and expertise in SAP COPA (Controlling-Profitability Analysis). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and controlling processes, with proven ability to design, implement, and optimize solutions that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute SAP S/4HANA brownfield migration projects, ensuring seamless transition from legacy systems to S/4HANA while minimizing disruptions to business operations.
Configure and implement SAP Finance modules (FI/CO) with a focus on Controlling-Profitability Analysis (COPA) to enhance financial reporting, analysis, and profitability tracking.
Conduct detailed gap analysis, identifying business requirements, and proposing optimized solutions to meet financial and controlling needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT, and SAP functional/technical teams, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Provide expertise in data migration, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness during the S/4HANA transformation process.
Optimize SAP COPA processes for profitability management, including segment definition, valuation, and realignment strategies.
Design and execute testing strategies, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Develop and deliver training materials, knowledge transfer sessions, and documentation to support end-user adoption.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and corporate governance standards within the SAP environment.
Support post-implementation activities, including troubleshooting, enhancements, and performance optimization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
6+ years of SAP Finance (FI/CO) experience with at least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA brownfield migrations.
Expertise in SAP COPA, including configuration, reporting, and integration with other modules.
Strong understanding of financial and controlling business processes, including GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, Product Costing, and Profit Center Accounting.
Hands-on experience in data migration tools and methodologies, including LTMC, LSMW, or custom solutions.
Proficiency in designing solutions that comply with IFRS, GAAP, and other financial reporting standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex business challenges.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
SAP S/4HANA certification in Finance is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud or other reporting tools integrated with SAP COPA.
Experience with Fiori apps and SAP Central Finance.
Familiarity with Agile project methodologies.
Work Environment:
This role may require occasional travel based on project needs.
