  • Generates raw material forecasts from complex sets of data and analysis of various feedstock markets.
  • Manages all supply chain factors of total cost for assigned commodity and divisions consistent with divisional business plans.
  • Coordinates with global counterparts to execute common, Global Market Analysis and Commodity Strategies.
  • Development of material strategies that mitigate financial and business risk for the divisions.
  • Initiates and leads material cost savings activities through divisional workplans.
  • Acts as top commercial agent for divisional business unit with responsibility for all purchased material and services costs.
  • Works closely with R&D/Material Technology teams to ensure alignment with the supply base and technologies.
  • Acts as the primary interface with the supply base for all commercial matters.
  • Creation and execution of Purchase & Supply Agreements (contracts).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials management, supply chain, or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and inventory management software.
