Assignment Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Lead with deep functional expertise to support our client in assessing and enhancing their existing PLM architecture. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in evaluating the complex custom development and architecture currently in place, identifying critical defects, and proposing viable simplification and optimization strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment & Analysis:Conduct a comprehensive review of the existing SAP PLM architecture, focusing on design complexity and custom development components.
- Issue Identification & Resolution:Identify critical defects in the current PLM setup from previous releases, working to develop streamlined and simplified solutions to address these challenges.
- Team Support & Collaboration:Collaborate with the client's team to provide guidance and insight on proposed add-ons or modifications to the existing PLM work, ensuring alignment with best practices and project goals.
- Documentation & Reporting:Document findings, propose solutions, and create reports that effectively communicate insights and suggested improvements to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience as a functional lead in SAP PLM, with a strong understanding of PLM architecture and custom development.
- Proven ability to analyze and simplify complex designs, identifying critical issues and proposing actionable improvements.
- Experience with end-to-end SAP PLM implementations or upgrades is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of successfully navigating complex project environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly in cross-functional settings.
Additional Information: This role requires occasional travel to the client's Foster City, CA location, as needed. All travel expenses will be covered.
