SAP S/4 F2S Data Migration Lead/Expert
*Please only apply if you have acquired significant experience in the SAP S/4 Hana space in relation to Forecast to Stock/Inventory and Data Migration Leadership, having led multiple S/4 Hana implementation projects.*
Job Description:
As the SAP S/4 Data Migration Lead, you will be responsible for Functional Consulting assistance for the data migration process from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA for F2S – Forecast to Stock Tribe. You will play a critical role in data migration activities for F2S tribe and provide cross-modular data integration expertise to Order to Cash – O2C and Record to Report – R2R teams. Along with the alignment of the workstream, the resource should be able to have a holistic approach to Data migration in collaboration with the L'Oreal Global Team and the Global Data Migration team. This is an on-site role in Clark, NJ with an expectation of at least 3 days a week. All meetings are camera-on.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Understand and execute a comprehensive data migration strategy and plan for the SAP S/4HANA implementation with a special focus in F2S area using the Global Data Migration Playbook as your foundation.
2. Ability to work with other Data migration experts and validate work plans weekly to ensure they are managing activities and deliverables with discipline.
3. Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, Global Data Team, Application PMs, and external partners to gather data migration requirements and define data mapping rules.
4. Design data migration scripts, programs, and tools to extract, transform, and load data from legacy systems into SAP S/4 HANA and Applications in the F2S area.
5. Perform and organize activities related to data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data quality and integrity throughout the migration process. Establish rules of engagement for data activities including the necessary governance processes.
6. Monitor data migration progress, with established KPI reporting, identify issues or bottlenecks and communicate/document observations, recommendations, owners, and timing, and implement corrective actions to stay on schedule and within budget.
7. Conduct data migration testing and validation to verify the accuracy and completeness of migrated data in partnership with the Global Team and the local Business Owners.
8. Make recommendations to the Global data migration playbook and related tools and processes, including procedures, guidelines, and best practices for future reference.
9. Work closely with the Cutover Lead to ensure tasks and activities are documented and executed to ensure smooth migration of data.
10. Support testing phases with engagement during defect management to resolve data defects at the root cause. Also, engage with hypercare activities to resolve data issues.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
2. Proven experience (10+ years) in leading data migration projects, preferably in SAP environments.
3. In-depth knowledge of SAP data migration tools, methodologies, and best practices.
4. Strong understanding of forecast-to-stock processes.
5. Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA data structures, data objects, and data migration processes.
6. Strong proficiency in SAP ECC/ S/4 HANA, Power BI, and knowledge of ETL methodology.
7. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, must be fluent in English.
8. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
9. Must be able to travel to client location at least 3 full days a week and more depending on phase of the project.
