MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH BIG TIMBERS AND BUILDING TRUSSES.RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinates daily production assignments as designated by Location Manager.
  • Confirms production details with Sales.
  • Coordinates with sales regarding customer needs with log home products and quotes.
  • Assists with development of specialty products and services associated with the log home market.
  • Processes log product orders and monitors confirmation for accuracy on orders.
  • Works to reduce waste and provide for maximum product usage and efficiently
  • Assists with check-in of log home products and monitors for damage and back orders.
  • Monitors incoming and manufactured products for quality control.
  • Maintains a safe working environment and safety conscious work area.
  • Maintains a regular maintenance schedule on all shop equipment.
  • Complies with company procedures on sales transactions, paperwork, refunds, credit memos, etc.
  • Provides contractors with the highest level possible of customer service.
  • Maintains housekeeping for assigned work area.
  • Assists supervisor and other employees as needed.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
  • Ability to do math, read orders, follow instructions and complete forms.
  • Ability to communicate with customers, employee and supervisors using verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
  • Knowledge and ability to use safe lifting techniques.
  • Interpersonal skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Ability to sit or stand for up to 4 hours at a time.
  • Ability to lift, up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Reach overhead, grasp, bend, stoop or squat to floor level on a repetitive basis.
